Words make you think. Music makes you feel. A song makes you feel a thought.

Music for the Church

When the Bride of Christ comes together in unity to worship through song, divisions between people are dissolved. We speak common word together through liturgy and song, focusing our stories around the Gospel, and putting our lives into the perspective of God’s redemption. Music is a tool of memory, stringing together words and rhythm; it is a means of expression for things words cannot express; it involves emotions, especially in times of celebration or grief. Music is an integral part of how a community identifies itself.

Rachel is familiar with many different church practices, but has found a home in the Anglican liturgy and church year. She brings a wide variety of musical resources, and an ability to adapt to the needs of a community. She is a talented pianist and singer who will ably play the organ for congregational worship if it is desired. She values leading clearly, using songs with good melodies, so that the community can join in song together.

Rachel is available for weddings, funerals, services, and conferences.
